Most players use Ping to see where the ground is when visibility is poor. Once ping and scan modes are merged, will there be a quick way to do that or will players need to enter scan mode? Patch 3.20 changed Ping from a button-press event to a hold-and-release event, which is already a substantial PITA.

Using ping as a night visibility helper was never intended. That will be solved differently anyways.
