hey yogi, the gladius used in the new flight model footage at Citcon 2023 has movable flaps. I’d like to ask whether adjustments will need to be made to the movable flaps of some fighter once the control surfaces are implemented. I’ve noticed that many fighters have flap modeling, so this could potentially involve modifications to the modeling. If so, could these modeling changes delay the progress of the new flight model implementation?”
The flap movement itself is driven by the control surface code but it’s really just an animation … it theoretically could also be hooked up to the legacy aerodynamics system.
