In preparation for future systems, we have started to prepare the Ground Vehicle mining and FPS mining gameplay to fit our goals. We split out FPS minables (Aphorite, Dolovine and Hadanite) to not be the minables you will be looking for anymore when you are going mining with your Ground Vehicle miners (like the ROC). Instead there are now new minables that are exclusive to the Ground vehicles which are categorized as beginner mineables with their own additional difficulty rating. These adjustments have also been done for FPS mineables, with more specifics available in tonights patch notes.
There are now also 4 dedicated mining heads for the ROC that can be bought and exchanged. These S0 mining heads, like for the ship mining, come with their own bespoke balancing and give benefits for: Instability reduction, resistance reduction, optimal charge window parameters, laser power and more (Part of the description of those items in the shops)
What we would like to know from you is the following:
- What difficulty rating would you give each rock (FPS and Ground vehicle minables)?
- What are the differences you noticed for each minables?
- Would you like to spend more or less time mining a ground vehicle or FPS minables?
- Describe in your own words what are the consequences of having the Rock (FPS and Ground Vehicle) reach the red zone.
- If there is one addition to the Ground mining and FPS mining feature what would it be?

We did some further updates:
We reduced the optimal and max range of the mining laser. The long range was unintended.
We also increased the amount of minables rocks for FPS and Ground vehicle mining in the spawn locations for planet surfaces. Means you should now have more rocks per location.
Additionally we did some difficulty tweaking for the FPS minables for the event, to hav the green zone better readable on the Multitool.
