Pirate Week 2025 is here, and it’s time to make everyone shiver in fear! Raise your tankards, take what isn’t yours, and show us what a true outlaw life looks like. Whether you’re pillaging cargo, ambushing haulers, or just living the rogue dream, we want to see the colors you hoist in action. Got the guts? Prove it with your boldest, brashest pirate flags!

How To Participate

This Pirate Week, we’re calling on all rogues, corsairs, and cutthroats of the ‘verse to design the ultimate pirate flag fitting the Star Citizen universe. Whether you sail alone or fly with a fearsome crew, show us the colors you’d raise when closing in on your prey: be it a bold banner that strikes fear, a tattered relic that whispers of countless victories, or a sleek emblem flaunting your unmatched wealth and cunning. The choice is yours… hoist your colors in a Real Life Craft, and/or a Digital Craft!

Please read the ⁠⁠contest rules carefully, to avoid disqualification.

• :book: Prepare: Every pirate abides by a clear code. Do you intimidate your prey so they surrender early? Are you rather a “No-Quarter!” pirate, plundering lives and loot? Or are you organized, paying wages to your crew? Think about your values as a pirate.
• :art: Draft and Design: We advise you to create a first draft to have a better representation of your idea, and then bring it to life either digitally or in real life if you are crafty enough. Make sure it truly represents your pirate life!
• :outbox_tray: Submit: Send your original creations to the Community Hub and create an event post ftest”.

Keep In Mind!

• Read the ⁠⁠contest rules.
• Posts must be submitted to the Community Hub, Pirate Week submissions. The title ‘Pirate Flag Design Contest’ will be added, and you can then upload your creation and select the Fan Art category on the Community Hub.
• Submissions must feature a pirate-theme flag, as could imaginably be seen being brought to life in the universe of Star Citizen.
• The flags can be made either digitally with graphic design software or crafted as physical art, and you may use any materials to represent your own pirate flag.
• Designs should inspire piracy in any given form, and rallying slogans or catchphrases may be used.
• Please post your images to the Community Hub, specifically to the Pirate Week 2025 event page. Replies to this thread will NOT count as a submission.
• Any submission not following the above instructions will not be considered.
• Group submissions are not allowed. Only the person posting the images can win a prize.
• Multiple submissions are not allowed.
• While you can participate in both Real Life Craft and Digital Craft, you can win a Prize in only one of the two categories.
• This here contest be naught but for ships and giggles, and the colors ye hoist from it will NOT be sailin’ their way into the game, savvy!
