The X1 has been in development for a while and according to the progress tracker, the work on it was completed earlier this month. Are they waiting to release it with the G12 later this year?

In the X1’s case, it still has to go through the QA process that every vehicle goes through, as well as its final review. It’s still currently slated for 3.22’s release, which is targeting next month.
