Currently, the lead indicator (and by extension the “sticky” aiming behaviour associated with that as well as gimballed weapons) doesn’t account for the bullet drop due to gravity. at long ranges this can cause the bullets to miss completely.
Are there any plans to implement some kind of either manual or automatic ranging calculations? or perhaps some improved “sniper mode” aiming system for long range projectile weapons?
Atm the vehicle weapons do not take the gravity drop into account. We’ll add it at some point but it is quite low on the list.
